What is a Ohm?

Ohm is the SI unit of Resistance (or electrical resistance) Measurement in the International System of Units.

1 ohm is defined as that resistance of an object when a current of 1 ampere flows through an object having a voltage (or Electric potential difference) of 1 Volt.

We often use formula R=V/I. where 1 ohm = 1 volt/1 ampere.

The symbol for ohm is Ω.

Therefore, 1 Ω = 1 Ω.
